Vault VI (Deluxe)
In 2018-2019, the home I was renting in Los Angeles caught fire. That moment shifted everything for me: my mindset, my music, and the way I saw the world/people around me.
Vault VI was born from that experience.
As part of the Relapse narrative, Vault VI represents a turning point—Drew at rock bottom, forced to start over, reflecting on everything that led to this moment. For me, that feeling wasn’t just in a story; it was my reality.
I also felt it was important to change the original cover of Vault VI (Deluxe) to be more sensitive to the times we’re living in. Seeing the devastation of the LA wildfires, I wanted to do more than just tell my own story— I wanted to share resources for those who have lost their homes, studios, and memories in the same way I did.
