I feel like my digital story and musical journey have always kind of mirrored each other. I had already moved back to New York and that strange life changing COVID stretch in 2020 really shifted everything for me. Considering live performance was a non factor i started leaning into Twitch heavy because it gave me the space to just make a ton of music with no pressure of purpose.
There was no real industry moving for me to be concerned with.1
This era also cracked the door open again for collaborating with folks outside my usual circle.
I ended up linking with J NICS through the homie Havana Joe and looking back it’s wild how much time I ended up spending back and forth between New York and Miami
Those trips were crucial to us and helped build toward something genuine.
