While En Amor was my first major release I had been releasing music as DrewsThatDude for a year or two prior. Early artist growing pains definitely got to me: Copyright issues, disputes with collaborators, artwork changes. I had a different cover in the beginning but this is what helped me build the relationship with Frans Clemente of HW&W and the beginning of putting easter eggs of the interest in my life into my work.
